Delicious food, nice people

Everything has already been said! Incomprehensible! Maybe a sociological experiment? ;-)

I have rarely (never really) experienced service personnel so bad. Not only were they unfriendly, the waiting time was also unreasonably long. We had to wait for a 3/4 hour for breakfast, we were the only guests and we had reserved. The two operators give the guests the impression that one has to be grateful to be able to visit their cafe at all. Another time I made the mistake of wanting to eat a piece of cake with my children there. It was then made very clear to me that children are not wanted. This time, too, there were no other guests present who could potentially have been disturbed. So, a clear one never again

I do not understand why this shop is not yet closed. I would visit this place instead of the authorities. The owners and staff manage to screw up almost every guest's mood. The reviews say more than that. We had our experience of 2 years: totally unfriendly and outrageous. It's best to leave your finger away.

Very rude service. You can't even drink anything anymore without eating. Unpleasant atmosphere!

"To people who only want to drink, we are no longer interested!" ..... that says everything! Last year I still liked to visit there, but this development seems to have passed me by! So far, I have been able to endure the otherwise always unfriendly way by the good selection of tea and wine! This is unfortunately over! Not recommendable!!!!!!!!

Passionately run restaurant with a nice selection of French specialties and great wines! Very nice!

The place has the potential to be an absolute favorite place. Fantastic is the weekend breakfast, in which the table bends to special self-made French delicacies (breakfast necessarily a few days before sign up !!)! The ambience is really nice. The only but significant downside: you never know if the owners have a good day or a bad day today. You have to expect to get scolded if you do not consume enough. Also not a place where you can unpack your laptop.

The best cafe in Bonn without a doubt. The most beautiful breakfast platters, delicious wholesome lunches, and a lovely garden to enjoy some quiet moments.

I love this beautiful cafe! I am here regularly and enjoy the sensationally delicious dish, whether savory or sweet :). My favorite is the homemade quiche - just awesome! The two owners and the operators are always very friendly! I can only recommend Jaz!

Café Jaz is a café for connoisseurs. People who just want to have a quick cup of coffee and work on their laptop will certainly not get their money's worth here. For some time now you can only have breakfast there by reservation. Everything is ready for this when you arrive, so there is no waiting. At first I was a bit skeptical, as € 20 per person excluding drinks is a steep price for breakfast. But now I can say that breakfast is really something special. It is very rich, varied and of good quality. We sat for three hours in a relaxed atmosphere in the cozy inner courtyard and enjoyed breakfast. For that the price is okay. Still, it would be nice if the drinks were included in the price. The operators were very friendly and attentive to us. If you are open to the concept of the store, you can have a good time there.

Very cute as environment but the service was so stressed that sucks away every chill-out mood you might have. It is also very expensive for the portions it offers.

We were kicked out in a rather reproachful tone. Because we hadn't ordered enough. The strange thing: we were not asked if we wanted to order anything else. And the café was almost empty.

Was there for the first time and it was excellent! Excellent service, excellent food and excellent wine! And all of this at more than fair prices. The small garden / courtyard is beautifully designed. Sat there in the best spring weather. More than just a recommendation.

Better not go there. Absolutely unfriendly to use and no thought of service from the owners. Receipt did not work afterwards, you should have said that before ordering - where is there such a thing?

Incredibly unfriendly. We were seven. A friend initially did not want to order anything to drink. The waitress told her aggressively that this would not work, so the friend gave in and ordered a coffee. But then the waitress had already lost interest and chased us out of the café because she didn't want to serve dissatisfied customers. We had willingly bowed to their rules. Never again !!!

Very moody service.

Lovely quiet cafe tucked away in the Altstadt. Good for reading.

We dared to enter the almost completely empty café with prams and were thrown out again. We would take up too much space and children are noisy too. The owners are definitely impossible to deal with customers. From a previous visit, however, I can say that the quiche was delicious.

Hidden in the north of Bonn is an island of the special. Whether breakfast, a three-course menu or a piece of cake - handpicked products prepared to a high standard and presented by friendly and professionally experienced operators. Clear recommendation.

Extremely pretentious, rude staff that apparently thinks they are a high end cafe on the 5th Ave in NYC. We were denied service because one member of our group didn't want to order something, and we're not permitted to sit outside even though the place was empty. Absolutely unacceptable for Bonn standards.

Nice cafe with fine coffee but awful service. It's apparently not even possible to get a simple glass of tab water with your coffee.

Horrible service and rudes

Reviews are really with caution to enjoy. My original review of the Jazz Gallery in Bonn has found itself here again (1 star, very dissatisfied) ... I apologize a lot. Both to the owners and to all those who have read the bad review. I am more than happy here. For me it is a real insider tip. Small, quiet and with a special touch .... :)

Not a good experience. It's a beautiful cafe with nice ambience. But terrible service. I went there this morning and the place was empty except for one table. I asked for a table that I could work at and they asked me to leave, as 'people working at cafes take too long'. I just needed 20 mins over breakfast, but oh well.. I ended up at another cafe in town.
